Greta Thunberg

Environmental activist Greta Thunberg has been awarded a Rights Livelihood award. She was one of four winners of the annual Swedish prize. Thunberg could also win a Nobel Peace Prize (a world-famous and important award) for leading the School Strikes for Climate campaign.

Cod in the North Sea

The population of North Sea cod has dropped so low that it can no longer be sustainably caught, a group called The Marine Stewardship Council has announced. This means that cod from the North Sea (off the eastern coast of the UK) might not be sold for a while, until numbers go back up.
