Pick of the week’s Gossip

Even princes are never too old to enjoy dressing up. William and Harry filmed cameo appearances for the new Star Wars film, The Last Jedi. John Boyega, who plays Finn in the rebooted franchise, revealed this week that the princes visited Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire last April. They donned stormtrooper costumes for a scene in which they formed a guard around Boyega in a lift. To add to the merriment, two of the other stormtroopers in the lift were played by actor Tom Hardy and Take That singer Gary Barlow. Sacha Baron Cohen has offered to pay the fines of six Czech tourists who were arrested in Kazakhstan for wearing nothing but Boratstyle ”mankinis”. The English comedian sported the original lime green onepiece in his 2006 comedy Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. Now the six men have been charged with “minor hooliganism” for posing in mankinis in Astana (pictured). Hearing of their plight, Baron Cohen posted on Facebook: “To my Czech mates who were arrested. Send me your details and proof that it was you, and I’ll pay your fine.”

Zimbabweans weren’t only enraged by Robert Mugabe’s spendthrift wife, Grace – aka the First Shopper. He also has two famously spoilt sons. Earlier this year, the 21-year-old Chatunga posted a photo of a new watch on Snapchat, with the caption: “$60,000 on the wrist when your daddy run the whole country ya know!!!”
