Conveyancing in the spotlight
Solicitors and commercial conveyancers are invited to an event designed to inform them on recent developments in the conveyancing industry.
Hosted by Thames Water Property Searches, the CPD day promises to provide attendees with essential information and updates from leading experts.
Speakers include Jan Boothroyd, of Land Data, who will discuss authoritative data, the National Land Information Service and give an update on local authority searches; Mark Taylor, of Argyll Environmental, who will talk about which report best suits your firm based upon the sensitivity of the transaction type and the clients you provide services for; and Paul Addison, of DevAssist, who will tell attendees how to avoid being sued for £2million, the planning system and how location and development risks can be exposed before purchase.
Hannah Mackinlay, of Propertylaw.guru, will run an afternoon workshop session on environmental considerations, drainage and water infrastructure, easements and highway robbery.
