BRAVAS TAPAS

The Wharf - - Bethnal Green, Limehouse & Wapping -

What is it? The first of our stops is typical of the venues visited, all of which are nestled, snug under the brick and iron buildings that line the marina’s quays. Tightly packed tables and voices pack this bustling tapas bar. What did you eat? Vegetarian croquetas and rolls of salmon topped off with slivers of radish. How was it? Tasty, but a little meagre. There’s no doubt Bravas Tapas can do flavour and warmth. But with dishes typically around £9, the plates can feel a little lean. Jon’s verdict: Hopping wasn’t the best way to experience this place. It’s best used at greater leisure as a venue to sip a glass of wine while ordering a stream of nibbles as the yachts bob up and down outside. Go to bravasrestaurant.com
