A packed house watched as actor Chris Noth – best known for his portrayal of Mr Big in Sex And The
City – was named winner.
He said: “It’s fabulous to win. This place is all new to me. I’d never heard of Boisdale and it’s been an education. I wish we had a club like this in LA.
“We have nothing of this class, size and character in the United States. I’m hoping to talk Ranald into doing something of this calibre over there.”
Actor Jeremy Irons won the Lifetime Achievement Award and spoke of his affection for cigars and free thinkers. Other highlights included a performance by Rebecca Ferguson ahead of her residency at the venue in January.
