Charlie and Jon appreciate the space

A COUPLE looking to buy their ‘forever’ home said that they think they’ve found it a Spencers Wood development.

First-time buyers Charlie Shepheard and her partner Jon Howdle have moved from a twobedroom house in Winnersh to a Freeford home at Croft Gardens, saying that they were impressed by the house’s spacious and modern design.

Charlie said: “Our aim was to find a home Jon and I could stay in for the rest of our lives, it was really important that we found the perfect property to suit our longterm plans.

“We love having more space in our new home. Jon is using the second room as a music studio while our cats seem to have claimed the third bedroom as their own. A real selling point for us was also the size of the garden, so I can’t wait for us to get the decking out and to make our own mark on the house.”

Nikki Gibson, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey West London, says: “Our brand new Freeford houses are proving very popular choices with homebuyers stepping on or up the property ladder – thanks to the appealing design, contemporary layouts and excellent value for money.”

The ‘Freeford’ (plot 32), priced at £387,500, features an open-plan living/dining room with double doors leading to the private rear garden, a spacious kitchen and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs is a luxurious en-suite master bedroom, two further good-sized bedrooms plus a family bathroom, while outside, the property benefits from two allocated parking spaces.

Alternative three-bedroom designs are currently available to reserve at Croft Gardens from £420,000, while two-bedroom properties are on sale from £305,000.

The Croft Garden Information Centre is located off Hyde End Road, Spencers Wood, Berkshire, RG7 1DG, and open daily from 10am to 5pm (Mondays noon to 5pm).
