Council should have sorted roundabout

I am grateful for your clarification that Hochtief is delivering the Shinfield Relief Road on behalf of Reading University.

However, Wokingham Borough Council (WBC) is the statutory highways authority, not them and, as such, will have considered the specification of the new roundabout near the Magpie & Parrot pub and, ultimately, signed it off. If the approach lanes are too narrow as I believe, it is WBC’s responsibility to have the situation remedied or face legitimate criticism that it is deficient and/or incompetent in allowing it to continue.
