Earth Day talk

TO MARK Earth Day on Sunday, a special event is to be held in Reading.

Called Philosophy and the Planet: The Eco-Philosophical Journey, it will be an illustrated talk with the speaker making comparisons between a human-centred outlook on nature with an eco-centric view. The evening will look at various philosophical views on looking after the planet.

It will be led by Tanja Rebel, a teacher of philosophy and religious studies with a masters in ethics, religion and society.

Entrance is free and it takes place at RISC in London Street, Reading from 6pm to 8.30pm.
