Can­cer char­ity to ben­e­fit from church’s con­cert

A CAN­CER char­ity will ben­e­fit from the first of this year’s au­tumn con­cert se­ries at All Saints Church.

Tal­ented Wok­ing­ham-based Jasper Sev­ern, will play solo cello with works from Bach and Cas­sado.

The con­cert, on Fri­day, Septem­ber 14 at 7.30pm is free but a re­tir­ing col­lec­tion will be do­nated to Breast Can­cer Care.

That’s fol­lowed by What the Floyd? on Oc­to­ber 12, which fea­tures all the hits and some rar­i­ties from the 70s su­per­group, in­clud­ing a com­plete per­for­mance of the clas­sic al­bum Dark Side of the Moon.

A spe­cial Re­mem­brance Day Con­cert on Satur­day, Novem­ber 10 at 3pm by the Trin­ity Con­cert Band, will mark the cen­te­nary of the end of the First World War. This event is also free.
