World’s orches­tra to help DrugFAM

TWO lo­cal char­i­ties are team­ing up to present a pres­ti­gious con­cert in Lon­don’s Bel­gravia this au­tumn.

DrugFAM and Wok­ing­ham In Need will wel­come the L’Orchestre du Monde, con­ducted by Janusz Piotrow­icz for the even­ing of clas­si­cal mu­sic.

The pro­gramme in­cludes Mozart’s Sym­phony No. 40 in G Mi­nor and Dovo­rak Sym­phony No. 9 (From the New World).

This en­sem­ble orches­tra will bring to­gether lead­ing world-class vir­tu­oso mu­si­cians, mem­bers of renowned string quar­tets and cham­ber en­sem­bles, and prin­ci­pals from the world’s great­est or­ches­tras to pro­mote and sup­port hu­man­i­tar­ian causes across the globe, all to raise much-needed funds for DrugFAM’S helpline.

This is open from 9am to 9pm 365 days a year.

The con­cert takes place from 7.30pm on Thurs­day, Oc­to­ber 25 at Cado­gan Hall in Lon­don. Tickets cost from £20 to £43. For more de­tails, call the box of­fice on 020 7730 4500.
