World’s orchestra to help DrugFAM
TWO local charities are teaming up to present a prestigious concert in London’s Belgravia this autumn.
DrugFAM and Wokingham In Need will welcome the L’Orchestre du Monde, conducted by Janusz Piotrowicz for the evening of classical music.
The programme includes Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 in G Minor and Dovorak Symphony No. 9 (From the New World).
This ensemble orchestra will bring together leading world-class virtuoso musicians, members of renowned string quartets and chamber ensembles, and principals from the world’s greatest orchestras to promote and support humanitarian causes across the globe, all to raise much-needed funds for DrugFAM’S helpline.
This is open from 9am to 9pm 365 days a year.
The concert takes place from 7.30pm on Thursday, October 25 at Cadogan Hall in London. Tickets cost from £20 to £43. For more details, call the box office on 020 7730 4500.
