Kestrels stun Aldermaston with late goals

SAM GUZE (pictured) scored two late goals as Woodley shocked Aldermaston to get off the mark in their Subsidiary Cup group.
The Kestrels had lost all three of their games in the competition going into the game, while Aldermaston had two wins from two.
However, Woodley battled back from falling behind to win 3-1 with Max Laschok also finding the net.
Jon Laugharne made four changes from his side which lost 2-1 in the reverse fixture last week with Luke Axton-Hall, Pele Hagger, Leon Mannion and Teddy Thomas all starting.
But it was the hosts who got off to a flying start, taking the lead in just the second minute through Sid Gbla.
Woodley competed well throughout the first half, but went in behind at the break.
That is how the game stayed until 20 minutes from time when substitute Laschok found the net from a Chace Jewell cross.
And the Kestrels were not done there, going ahead when Guze netted from a free-kick. And the same man was on target again to wrap up the win, tucking home a penalty after a foul on Laschok.
Woodley stay bottom of the group, but now just three points separate all four sides. United go to Chinnor in the league on Saturday (3pm) before hosting Wallingford Town on Monday night (7.45pm).
WOODLEY: Sangwell, Hawkins, Jewell (Brown 81), Hagger (Laschok 67), Sissons, Alexander (Blakemore 72), Barron, Guze, Axton-Hall, Mannion, Thomas. Subs not used: Bryant, Bill.
