Have your say on bor­ough’s hous­ing plans

A SE­RIES of con­sul­ta­tion events about the fu­ture of hous­ing in the bor­ough will be tak­ing place across the com­ing weeks.

Or­gan­ised by Wok­ing­ham Bor­ough Coun­cil, the events will al­low res­i­dents to help it shape the forth­com­ing lo­cal plan up­date: This doc­u­ment will set out not just where the homes will go but also schools, roads and sports, com­mu­nity and health fa­cil­i­ties in the years up to 2036.

All ses­sions run from 7pm to 9pm and take place across the bor­ough, in order to en­sure res­i­dents’ views are taken into ac­count.

The first ses­sion will be held on Mon­day at St Sebastian’s Me­mo­rial Hall.

Then on Thurs­day, Jan­uary 10, the venue will be Twyford’s Lod­don Hall.

On Wed­nes­day, Jan­uary 16, the fo­cus will be at Wok­ing­ham Town Hall.

Ryeish Green Sports Cen­tre in Shinfield will host a ses­sion on Tues­day, Jan­uary 22.

The Henry Street Gar­den Cen­tre in Ar­bor­field will be used as a venue on Wed­nes­day, Jan­uary 30.

The Trin­ity Church in

Ear­ley will be the venue on Wed­nes­day, Fe­bru­ary 6.

The fi­nal meet­ing will be held on Tues­day, Fe­bru­ary 12 in Wood­ley’s Oak­wood Cen­tre.
