Have your say on borough’s housing plans

-

A SERIES of consultation events about the future of housing in the borough will be taking place across the coming weeks.

Organised by Wokingham Borough Council, the events will allow residents to help it shape the forthcoming local plan update: This document will set out not just where the homes will go but also schools, roads and sports, community and health facilities in the years up to 2036.

All sessions run from 7pm to 9pm and take place across the borough, in order to ensure residents’ views are taken into account.

The first session will be held on Monday at St Sebastian’s Memorial Hall.

Then on Thursday, January 10, the venue will be Twyford’s Loddon Hall.

On Wednesday, January 16, the focus will be at Wokingham Town Hall.

Ryeish Green Sports Centre in Shinfield will host a session on Tuesday, January 22.

The Henry Street Garden Centre in Arborfield will be used as a venue on Wednesday, January 30.

The Trinity Church in

Earley will be the venue on Wednesday, February 6.

The final meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 12 in Woodley’s Oakwood Centre.
