Po­lice re­lease im­age of man who could help as­sault in­quiry

A CCTV im­age has been re­leased of a man po­lice be­lieve could help them solve a pre-Christ­mas as­sault.

Thames Val­ley Po­lice said in a state­ment that they be­lieve he may have vi­tal information about the late night in­ci­dent.

At around 11.30pm on Satur­day 15 De­cem­ber, two men as­saulted an­other man fol­low­ing a ver­bal al­ter­ca­tion in The Black Boy Pub­lic House in Shinfield.

Po­lice said that the vic­tim, a man in his 30s, did not sus­tain any in­juries.

In­ves­ti­gat­ing of­fi­cer PC James Greehy based at Lod­don Val­ley po­lice sta­tion, said: “We would like to iden­tify the man pic­tured in this CCTV.

“He could have vi­tal information to help us with our in­ves­ti­ga­tion in to this as­sault. If you know who this man is, or you are the man pic­tured, please get in touch.
