History society plans AGM

SHINFIELD and District Local History Society will hold its AGM on Tuesday (8).

Afterwards, Mike Cooper will give a talk on The Abbey and the Castle: Reading in the Middle Ages.

The meeting will be held in the library of Shinfield View Care Home in School Green from 7.45pm. Entry is £1 for non-members.
