Rockets hoping for a Magic encounter

-

READING ROCKETS return to action this weekend with a trip to Manchester Magic.

Magic (1-10) have struggled this campaign and sit bottom of NBL Division

One while Alan Keane’s

Rockets (7-4) are well-placed in fourth with the halfway mark approaching.

“We are really looking forward to getting back to work and competing again,” said head coach

Keane.

“The Christmas break has been a good time for rest and reflection and despite being in different places we have done a lot of that together.

“However, there is nothing better than being on court together working to be the best versions of ourselves and improve as a group.

“Manchester will be a tricky opening test to 2019 so we will need to make sure we very quickly commit to everything we do as well as prepare in the right way to achieve a positive outcome.

“We can’t wait to get going again and build on the positive aspects we showed before the turn of the year.”

Rockets have no new injury concerns ahead of the trip up north on Saturday with captain Danny Carter still managing on ongoing back issue.

Tip-off at the

Amaechi Basketball Centre is 6.30pm.
