Kings hit by fierce Welsh Storm

THAMES VALLEY KINGS’ Division Three side suffered defeat away at Swansea Storm.

The drive over to Wales proved fruitless for the Berkshire side, losing 52-24 despite matching up well during the early exchanges.

Kings will look to bounce back against Cardiff Met Archers this weekend while the Division Two side face Warwickshire Bears in a top-of-the-table clash.

Meanwhile, the club have been nominated for two Get Berkshire Active awards.

Liam Barker has been shortlisted for Junior Player of the Year while Kings are also in the running for Community Club of the Year, which will be decided by public vote.
