WALKERS
prepare to put their best foot forward in a bid to enjoy the countryside lest it get built on.
Last Saturday and Sunday, a group turned up at Grazeley Village Hall to take part in the first SOS: Save Our Villages walk. Another is planned for this weekend.
The walkers took in a range of local areas in the circular route, admiring the land that is threatened for development.
And on Saturday, and Sunday, the walkers will meet at Spencers Wood Recreation Ground in Clares Green Road. The route includes Ryeish Sports Pavilion, Three Mile Cross, Grazeley Road, Woodcock Lane, White House Farm, Loddon Court, Sheepbridge Farm, Sussex Lane, Croft Road, and back to the Recreation Ground.
Both walks start at 10am and walkers should come dressed for both the weather and muddy fields.
The routes will be led by Andrew Grimes and James Reid.
