GOALS from Jack Kelly and
Jonathan Sharp could not prevent defeat for Sonning on their return to action.
Hosting PHC Chiswick, Sonning faced a tough test against one of the leading sides in MBBO Regional 1 and they were edged out 3-2.
Defeat leaves the hosts 12th in the 14-team table just past the halfway mark.
Most other sides do not return to action until this weekend, but SONNING 6s did travel to Thame 3s in Division 9, drawing 3-3.
