Cakes and bakes will help save sight
CAKES and other tempting treats were served up at Wokingham Methodist Church’s Cafe Mosaic last Friday. The popular venue was hosting a charity morning in aid of Retina UK, which supports people affected by inherited progressive sight loss. Visitors could enjoy a range of homemade cakes and cookies while making donations. In all, £160 was raised. The café’s next charity morning is on May 17 where money raised will go to Well Child, but it’s also open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am.
