Cross the bridge and learn something new

-

NEW ONLINE courses will be created as part of an initiative to remove barriers to studying the arts.

South Hill Park Arts Centre will be bringing art and cultural experiences to the home through its new SHP Bridge project.

Funded by an emergency grant from Arts Council England, the project aims to tackle barriers including cost and travel, and create a more inclusive learning platform for the arts.

Project organisers at South Hill Park hope to bring the best cultural experiences into the home.

They will be partnering with some of the best specialist tutors in the industry. And the structure, content and style will be shaped by community consultation.

The arts centre will also work to make the resources accessible to those who are disabled, socially isolated or lonely, and will be guided by expert partners when creating the platform.
