BULGING BOOKCASE

ike many people during lockdown I renewed my love of cross stitching, after a break that lasted many years. I was given a subscription to the magazine as a Christmas present and have just completed the bookmark included in issue 304 (March 2021). As I haven’t been able to see my mum, who lives in Wales, since the summer I thought I would send it to her. Instead of mounting it in the card supplied, I folded back the raw edges and backed it with some felt. It worked out a lot better than I expected! I’m looking forward to trying some other projects to keep me busy until the next mag arrives. Gaynor Hall, via email
