Buying a herb pot from the supermarket and watching it die two days later is a shared, if not defining, feature of modern life. But as herbs go, a new study by MyJobQuote has found that it’s actually lavender we worry about keeping alive most, with over 78,000 queries made about it on Google each month.

Maybe it’s not so soothing after all . . .
