Ican hardly believe that TT magazine is celebrating its first anniversary! The year has gone so quickly and so much has happened for the magazine. The latest exciting news is that TT has been signed up by Press Reader, the largest digital platform for newspapers and magazines, who also provide all Qantas passengers with access to their magazines. So now you can download and read while you fly! I would also like to thank Goldkey Media who distribute TT magazine to hotels throughout the UK and Europe. They have been hugely supportive and I am very grateful. The size of the magazine has also changed for its first birthday and we have had fun tweaking the design.

There is much to read in this issue including prehistoric temples in Malta, the romantic sounding Silk Road in China, keeping up with the Joneses in the Hudson Valley, and ten less well known places to explore in Florence by Jane Fortune, who has lived in the city for many years. Our intrepid traveller is Ibn Battuta who travelled the entire Islamic world and beyond in the 14th century and we bring you a focus on Şanliurfa in Turkey, the 1769 Jubilee in Stratford-upon-Avon, the Carrara marble quarries in Italy and much more. Happy reading!
