Celia has been described as a ‘slashy’ i.e she is a wordsmith/printmaker/arts and travel correspondent/author/artist/ scent critic/course teacher of the art of making scent/mother/flanneur. She lives in London with her husband, a restorer of antiques and her two sons. In the school holidays they migrate south to sunnier climes usually to stay with her father in Tuscany, or a Cycladic island. Celia is currently writing two books and working on an exhibition entitled Lament for the Levant a series of etchings of the ruins of Asia Minor and the Maghreb. Her book The Scent Trail is out in paperback (Penguin) and hardback (Bantam).
