Walking in the Basque Country
This itinerary combines the very best of the Basque country in one holiday – delicious cuisine, excellent local wines, spectacular mountain scenery and cutting-edge art and architecture. Starting with two nights at the 4* superior Hotel de Seze in Bordeaux, you will then travel by rail to Biarritz, where you join local expert James Tamlyn and Minette Constant, Master of Wine for an eight night itinerary crossing the Pyrenean foothills into Spain.The walks can be hilly but distances not too long and you will travel an average of approximately 9km per day.
