Art podcast goes online
A new art podcast series started in August. My Favourite Work of Art, presented by Oxbridge Art Historian Dr Laura-Jane Foley, is a Desert Island Discs for art lovers. Over the course of 12 episodes, the podcast talks to guests about how art shapes our society, culture and individual lives. The episodes cover a variety of artists, styles and eras, including Brooks Newmark’s recollections of how his mother became a muse for an Andy Warhol silk print, as well as stories behind Picasso’s Le Rêve, Goya’s Black Paintings and unique Rosetti sketches.
