One (1) 1½in x WOF strip, subcut into two (2) 1½in x 10½in pieces. Q 4 From the lining fabric, cut two (2) 20½in x 28½in pieces. Piecing the small pine trees 5 Follow steps 10-16 from the Darling Dala quilt to make two (2) small pine trees. Use the 2⅛in x 5in pieces of background and the 1in x 5in contrastin­g piece to make the trunk strip set. The blocks should measure 4¼in x 10½in. BEHIND THE SANTA SACK Piecing the large pine trees AMONG THE TREES 6 Follow steps 17-21 from the Darling Dala quilt to make one (1) large pine tree. Use the 2⅝in x 2½in pieces of background and the 1in x 2½in contrastin­g piece to make the trunk strip set.
