Subcut into thirty (30) 2in squares for the cornerston­es. (2) 6½in x 83½in strips for the side outer borders and two (2) 6½in x 76⅜in strips for the top and bottom outer borders.** From Fabric G (cream), cut as follows: Three (3) 14⅜in x WOF strips. Subcut into five (5) 14⅜in squares. Cut the 14⅜in squares across one (1) diagonal to make ten (10) side setting triangles. One (1) 11½in x WOF strip. Subcut into two (2) 11½in squares. Cut the squares across one (1) diagonal to make four (4) corner setting triangles. Q 3 From Fabric B (red), cut three (3) 2⅞in x WOF strips. Subcut into forty (40) 2⅞in squares (for small Christmas Star split QST units). Q Q 11 From Fabric J ( green), cut one (1) 5⅛in x WOF strip. Subcut into four (4) 5⅛in squares (for large Christmas Star HSTs). 4 From Fabric C ( green), cut as follows: Two (2) 3¼in x WOF strips. Subcut into twenty (20) 3¼in squares (for small Christmas Star split QST units). Nine (9) 2½in x WOF strips for the binding. Q 9 From Fabric H ( green), cut as follows: Fifteen (15) 2in x WOF strips. Subcut into forty-four (44) 2in x 12½in sashing strips. Eight (8) 2in x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut into two (2) 2in x 79in strips for the side inner borders and two (2) 2in x 62⅞in strips for top and bottom inner borders.** One (1) 5⅛in x WOF strip. Q 7 10 15 From Fabric F (cream feature print), cut two (2) 12½in x WOF strips. Subcut into four (4) 12½in squares (for the unpieced blocks). From Fabric I (red), cut as follows: Eight (8) 1¼in x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with Cut the backing fabric into two (2) equal lengths.
