Hit it like Hatton
What you can learn from England’s rising star
At just 25, Tyrrell Hatton’s progress into the world’s top 20 has been serene. We can attribute much of this smooth progress to the value of continuity. Sticking with one coach is a recipe for consistency, and Tyrrell has been coached by his dad, PGA pro Jeff, pretty much from birth. Before we even get to his impressive technique, this is a great lesson we can all learn from him.
Right heel pressure
Tyrrell puts pressure into his right heel at the top; it really looks like it’s pushing into the turf. It helps him achieve a fuller turn, and stops his arms lifting too much.
