1 NEUTRALISE THE SLOPE

Today's Golfer (UK) - - PLAY BETTER -

If you can move impact earlier in the club’s arc – while it’s still swinging downward – you promote impact where the club’s attack angle is closer to the gradient. Do this by playing the ball further back in your stance. The steeper the slope the further back it should go, but keep it inside your trail instep. You can further bring your attack angle in harmony with the slope by matching your shoulder pitch to it.
