FLAT LEAD WRIST

Today's Golfer (UK) - - PLAY BETTER -

Note the position of Francesco’s left wrist. Even this early in the downswing it is already into flexion, or flattening. Not only does this square the clubface nice and early; it also helps with the important job of shallowing out the shaft angle – note how it points just outside the ball-target line. This will allow Francesco to rotate his body through impact, and deliver a square clubface.
