In a nutshell… Quality mature parkland layout in picturesque countryside on the outskirts of Leicester. With most fairways flanked by trees, you have to be deadly accurate with every club in the bag to keep it on the short stuff and stay in the hole.

You’ll love the… Speedy and consistent greens! The opening four holes – two demanding par 4s and a pair of equally tricky short holes – set the tone and if you can overcome this potential card-wrecking quartet, you should be on course for a healthylooking round and scorecard. But you cannot take anything for granted and that certainly includes the 202-yard par-3 16th.
