In a nutshell… Two nines from different eras: one on lower ground and one rambling through forest up above. Yes, you’ll notice the difference, but it matters not – the golf at Castlecomer packs in the fun and you’ll be playing through trees all day to some smallish greens and smart green sites.

You’ll love the… 10th hole, which unites the two nines and delivers one of the biggest drops from a tee you’ll ever encounter. Out of the forest, this par-4 doglegs left, out of view, to a smartly located green slipped into the side of a hill. Numerous other holes promise similar thrills.
