DON’T GIVE YOUR BODY ALIGNMENT THE COLD SHOULDER

-

2 Do NOT make the mistake of aiming your feet at the flag. This means you’ll be aiming right of target, and will likely need to angle your shoulders left to compensate. The simplest way to fix any alignment faults is by setting up to a twofoot putt. Note how the clubface – not the shoulders and feet – points at the target, in this case a putter cover. This is the basis of alignment. The shoulders and the rest of your body should then be matching and set parallel left of your target line. All you need to do is extend your posture out to set up for a full swing.
