What we can learn from Tiger’s new takeaway.

Tiger Woods began the year ranked 656 in the world. Just 15 events later, he’s ranked 26th. And while the victory that really would set the seal on his comeback year has eluded him, we have all seen enough to know that, without doubt, Tiger is back.

Despite the ups and downs of his career, Tiger has been consistent in one area – his insatiable hunger to get better. That has taken him through a series of coaches, and at times some uncomfortable swing positions. This year, though, he’s been doing it himself… and arguably his action has never looked better. “I’m looking at a lot of replay and video, or just analysing what I do,” he said recently. It seems to be working.

While Tiger’s dramatic move through the ball gets plenty of attention, here we are going to examine the unsung hero of his swing – his beautiful move away from the ball. It sets up everything good that comes after. Build his moves into your action and the chain-reaction nature of the golf swing will ensure better results.
