BEST TIME TO GO
Temperatures rarely deviate from the pleasant average of 22°C at any time of the year and there really isn’t a bad time to visit Tenerife. It rarely gets too hot. Best known for being an outstanding winter golfing hotspot it’s pretty special in summer, too – average temperatures of 23°C provide the ideal climate to play golf break thanks to cooling sea breezes. Furthermore, green fee and hotel rates are generally 20 per cent cheaper than in winter.
GETTING THERE
Regular flights are available from many regional airports in the UK and Ireland and flight time is around four hours.

OFF-COURSE ATTRACTIONS
Mount Teide dominates the island and a visit to the national park that surrounds it is a must and magical experience. Otherwise you can chill out at Siam Park, one of Europe’s biggest waterparks.

Head for lively Playas de las Americas and Los Cristianos for an assortment of clubs, bars and a wide range of restaurants.
