LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
BEST TIME TO GO
Mid-november to May – the courses are in great shape from mid-april when hotel facilities are fully open.
GETTING THERE
Antalya is a four-hour flight from the UK and a number of airlines operate regular direct flights, including easyjet, Thomas Cook and Jet2.
BEST PLACES TO STAY
They’re all pretty special and highend with the pick of the crop being the Kempinksi and Sirene hotels along with the superb Regnum Carya.
OFF-COURSE ATTRACTIONS
The areas of Kadriye and Belek have developed extensively, including the recent opening of a huge Disney-type theme park called Land of Legends. Other places we’d recommend include the ancient town of Side, Aspendos’ amphitheatre, Capadocia, Antalya old city and harbour and Perge.
FOOD & DRINK
Belek does all-inclusive brilliantly, and that’s most likely how you’ll stay. All the big hotels we’ve stayed in have a number of eating options usually involving different international food at a variety of bars and restaurants.
