ARE THERE SLOPES YOU CAN USE?

Today's Golfer (UK) - - PLAY BETTER -

Take a look at that wide open space to the right of the green. The natural camber of this ground feeds round towards the green, meaning that if you take that safer line and shorter carry, the lie of the land will work in your favour. Stay on the look-out for slopes and contours which you can use to your benefit… and in doing so, consider your lie. Ball-above-feet will encourage a draw and ball-below a fade, which may or may not help the line and shape you are picturing.
