ADD EXTRA OOMPH TO YOUR SWING
This is another easy drill which will add some extra speed to your swing and help you gain a few extra yards. You may have seen videos of Padraig Harrington trying something similar on the range; I liken it to Happy Gilmore because you’re basically stepping into the shot. Again, you start with your feet close together, but this time take a step forward as the arms take the club back. Doing so creates some separation between your backswing and downswing, and makes it easier to feel how the weight shifts during the swing. That sensation is key to getting the whole body swinging the club, not just the arms.
