Quinta da Marinha’s 18-hole, par71 course measures 6,420-yards and is complemented by impressive, revamped practice facilities next to the first tee. Opened in 1984, the Trent Jones course provides a varied and intriguing challenge with accuracy and precision required from the very first tee shot – your drive needing to split an avenue of trees.
A series of picture-perfect par 3s will live long in the memory – played out with backdrops that include the Atlantic Ocean and Sintra Mountains – and your round builds beautifully and ends on a high with a par 5 guarded by lakes (above). It’s a fitting finale to an exceptional round.
