“The tee time is any time,” says CEO Frode Hov, “so if you feel like playing at midnight, you can just walk out and play.”

Located 153km (95 miles) above the Arctic Circle on the Lofoten Islands, Lofoten Links’ 18-hole golf course is serenely situated on the edge of the world.
The course ebbs and flows within its extraordinary landscape, just as the tides of the Norwegian Sea ebb and flow in front of you. So perfectly so, you might miss it if you aren’t looking for it.
You’ll get out the sticks on Gimsøy island, where myriad mountain ridges stretch as far as the eye can see and the raw, wild nature envelopes itself around you as you journey from hole to hole.
