A week for two at Heritage Resorts in Mauritius is up for grabs

-

It takes a very special resort to get into Golf World’s Top 100 Resorts in the world. And it takes a very high level of spectacular to get into the top 25 of our biennial list – with a rise of 16 places. That’s what happened last issue, when Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort, Mauritius jumped into the upper echelons of our ranking.

Its meteoric rise came, in part, courtesy of the resort adding a second course – La Réserve Golf Links joining the already world-class Le Château to propel Heritage further up the list.

The original course was created by Peter Matkovich, a beautifully presented, technically excellent and magnificently tranquil test that winds between lush native vegetation.

Now it has a sister course, La Réserve Golf Links, set further up in the hills. Designed by Matkovich and Louis Oosthuizen, it is a modern masterpiece, mixing memorable, dramatic holes with jaw-dropping views.

The Resort’s beauty is evident from the images on this page, but one lucky winner can experience Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort, Mauritius for themselves with this month’s competition.

The winner will receive a luxurious seven-night stay for two adults at the 5-star Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort on a half board basis, including one round on La Réserve Golf Links and two rounds on Le Château Golf Course. (Please note that flights are not included in this prize.)

The Resort itself is every bit as spectacular as its golf courses. As a member of ‘Small Luxury Hotels of the World’ and nestled alongside a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve within the Bel Ombre Estate, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort offers a world of experiences for golfers, friends and families to create unforgettable memories.
