Its meteoric rise came, in part, courtesy of the resort adding a second course – La Réserve Golf Links joining the already world-class Le Château to propel Heritage further up the list.
The original course was created by Peter Matkovich, a beautifully presented, technically excellent and magnificently tranquil test that winds between lush native vegetation.
Now it has a sister course, La Réserve Golf Links, set further up in the hills. Designed by Matkovich and Louis Oosthuizen, it is a modern masterpiece, mixing memorable, dramatic holes with jaw-dropping views.
