dear Sir,

A recent news article in Total 911 issue 172 showed early images of the 992 GT3 in testing. The report said the car was likely to be naturally aspirated, but I’ve also read conflicting reports from forums online. I’d like to know either way, so can I be cheeky and ask what – or who – is your source for this information?

James Stevens

our sources are a carefully chosen team of spies whom we’ve worked with for five years now, though they’ve been in their profession for more than 20 years following porsche and other brands around the planet. our spies are 911 owners too, so they know specifically what to look for when dissecting the information presented to them on a mule – including deliberate attempts at ‘smoke and mirrors’ from the manufacturer. our spies watched the 992 Gt3 mule in action at the nürburgring and agreed its soundtrack was characteristic of a naturally aspirated flat six, not turbocharged. they’ve not been wrong yet for t911 either. So, come on then: who are sources present on these forums?
