Total 911

Space in LTL?

- Dear Sir, alex Stmrock Wong

I live in Sarawak, the Malaysian part of Borneo Island, and always try to get a copy of Total 911 from the mainland, but often miss out. I used to live in London a long time ago, for six years actually. The UK is lovely, though not-so-lovely weather year-round. I’m a Porschefile and currently on my eighth Porsche and fifth 911. My 911s were:

• 1983 Sc cabriolet

• 1999 996.1 Gt3

• 2005 997.1 c2

• 1995 993 c2

• 2014 991.2 c2

I still own the last two. I just toured for 30 days with my 991 on a 7,400km loop of Thailand. Thailand has great driving roads in the rural and mountainous areas. Yesterday I was lucky enough to drive three top 911s….the 997 GT3 RS 4.0, the 911 R and the 991 GT2 RS. A friend of mine is a super collector of sports cars, particularly Porsche. Anyway, I’m writing to say if you ever want an overseas perspective of Living the Legend, I’m available. Meanwhile, take care and I look forward to the next issue of Total 911.

Great to see that t911’s readership is so farreaching, alex! thanks for showing an interest in becoming a ‘Living the Legend’ columnist. We’ve had a fair upheaval in the section these last few months due to columnists selling up, however these spaces have been filled by fellow enthusiasts who have offered to share their stories (and for this we are perpetually grateful). We’re now back to full capacity but, if okay with you, we’ll have you and anybody else who wishes to write for us on standby, should a space become available.
