Total 911

The big 200th issue

- Dan Higgins

Dear Sir,

200 is a big figure in automotive, for car manufacturers it represents a speed barrier for the fastest cars to surpass (though these days it’s nearer to 300mph). It’s also a milestone figure for Total 911 in passing 200 issues of your glorious magazine. I’ve subscribed for the past eight years and have loved the journey and the different facets of 911 culture you continue to cover. My only gripe is that the magazine is delivered monthly… I’d genuinely welcome Total 911 landing on my door mat every fortnight. My year started with delivery of your celebratory 200th issue… wow. Huge kudos to the team for securing the services of the legendary Rob Dickinson as guest editor for the issue. Anyone who loves cars is a fan of Singer’s work, so it was great to hear from the man himself and surprising to hear of his own affinity with your magazine. The ACS scoop has left me speechless – what a car, first of all, but also a genuine world exclusive is rare in the press these days, and I’ve still not seen the car in print anywhere else. You should rightfully be proud of your work, as I am to have been a long-term subscriber to your wonderful title. Keep going, and thanks for your continued passion for the 911.
