DESIRABLE OPTIONS

Standard 997.2s were delivered with a fairly basic specification, a criticism which the motoring press has been levelling at Porsche for years – to no avail. Most 997.2s have PDK (a £2,500 option) and many will have 19-inch wheels; a full leather interior enhances the cabin, and heated seats and rear parking sensors are practical accessories. Sports seats and PASM will tend to be sought out at the same time as the manual gearbox versions. Rare, but worth looking out for is the Black Edition (assuming you like black) which has the leather interior, Turbo wheels, Bose surround sound and tasteful (black) embellishments around the cabin.
