The im­prove­ments don’t look like much on pa­per but even with the stan­dard air fil­ter pip­ing fit­ted back in place, and every­thing else in the en­gine bay as stan­dard, the car is trans­formed. The surge in power and torque at 3000rpm is markedly no­tice­able and the car now feels like it revs longer and harder. What’s more im­por­tant is that the ECU will al­low the full per­for­mance po­ten­tial from each fu­ture mod­i­fi­ca­tion, whether it be rel­a­tively mild nor­mally as­pi­rated fil­ter/ex­haust, or forced in­duc­tion.
