Town & Country (UK) - - CONTRIBUTORS – WINTER 2018 -

On page 142, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley speaks fondly about the experience of sitting for a portrait by Phoebe Dickinson. The work will join pieces by Gainsborough and Sargent in the historic art collection at her home, Houghton Hall.

What do you love most about winter? ‘Watching starlings murmurate – they do it every year near us and it never fails to amaze me.’

How do you decorate your Christmas tree? ‘With the children, while carols blast in the background – though I can’t help changing it all once they have gone to bed.’

Your hopes for 2019 ‘Health and happiness for my friends and family, and new adventures.’
