IN GOOD TASTE

Art meets cuisine at this London venue

-

‘We want our guests to have a revelation when they eat here,’ says Rose Murray, the design mastermind behind Hide, the latest restaurant from the chef Ollie Dabbous that won its first Michelin star just six months after opening. The Green Park venue is filled with bespoke artworks and each of its three floors features a unique commission by a female artist. A six-metre plaster mural of London’s wild flowers by Rachel Dein runs across one side of the main restaurant, a wall of preserved lichen by Jeanette Ramirez emerges from behind mirrors, and there is a library where Su Blackwell’s origami lobsters and bird’s nests escape from an arch of cascading books. tf www.hide.co.uk
