HANGING GARDEN
Rebecca Louise Law reinvents the art of the garland
The historic house and now art centre Compton Verney has been filled with 250,000 flowers suspended on copper wires as part of its latest installation. This delicate veil comprises more than 100 varieties of flora collected and preserved by the artist Rebecca Louise Law throughout 2019, including those foraged from the gallery’s grounds. Reflecting the ebb and flow of life with a spectrum of hues, ‘Seasons’ offers an immersive olfactory journey through the natural world. bt ‘Rebecca Louise Law: Seasons’ is at Compton Verney (www.comptonverney.org.uk) until 13 June.
